CHAMPS Software, partnered with QlikTech, (NASDAQ:QLIK) a leading business intelligence software company, today announced that Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating Solutions (“MEUS”), is successfully using QlikView for a consolidated view of sales, marketing, service and support, and web analysis. With immediate answers in QlikView, MEUS has reduced monthly reporting time from approximately 40 hours to only two hours — a process improvement that represents a 95% reduction in time and manpower. Through this increased efficiency and visibility for strategic planning, the company realized a full return on its QlikView investment in less than two months.
With source data in numerous disparate systems — from SAP and SalesLogix to the company’s website CMS and training management system — even compiling a basic sales report took MEUS 20 to 40 hours each month. To eliminate the problem of manual, time-consuming data consolidation and empower employees with access to and analysis of real-time data, the company decided to implement QlikView. Working with QlikView partner CHAMPS Software, Inc., it took only one week for MEUS to develop its initial sales application, which analyzes performance in a variety of different dimensions, including geography, salesperson, account, timeframe and overall trending.

Sales Performance and Trends — Pulling data from multiple sources, QlikView sales applications track KPIs, such as product, geography, sales rep, distributor and actual sales for any time period. This visibility enables MEUS to work closely with its distributors to maximize success.
Training Revenue and Effectiveness — The QlikView application monitors training courses by types of event, locations, attendees, companies and topics. Cross-functional visibility of data from the technical support application pinpoints areas for training improvement and expansion.
Technical Support — Calls are monitored by nature of the issue, customer service rep, duration, ultimate resolution and most prevalent calls to continually improve product development, training offerings and customer service processes — for a resulting productivity gain of 10-20 percent per service rep.
CRM — MEUS uses a QlikView dashboard to extend standard SalesLogix reporting functionality for immediate, drill-down visibility into all aspects of contractor relationships, from sales performance to training needs and upsell opportunities.
Marketing and Website — QlikView marketing analysis and reporting enables MEUS to track and continuously improve their website and overall lead generation processes with contractors. By optimizing landing pages and web forms, Mitsubishi has been able to decrease overall Cost per Lead by 10 percent.
